Many of our customers and those who we work with in the various trades know George. George has worked here at Christopher’s Kitchen & Bath for nearly 5 years now and is known for his quick wit and friendly demeanor. Our customers have always appreciated his ability to make them feel comfortable and at ease even when their kitchen was literally in pieces all around them. All will agree, George is a good man.
While traveling to be with family this past Christmas season, George and his wife, Brenda, were involved in a terrible accident. George was airlifted to a hospital in Colorado Springs where he remained in the ICU for several weeks. It’s been just recently that George was able to return home. Despite five pages worth of broken bones and multiple fractures, he continues to make great progress and is in rehabilitation therapy. Heartbreakingly, Brenda did not survive the accident.
Brenda had worked at The Bank of Colorado- Montrose South Branch for many years. She too was known for her exceptional service and her warm, welcoming smile. Brenda’s spirit was like a beaming ray of sunshine that would brighten up any place she happened to be. Her loving compassion and kindness are her legacy and she is greatly missed.
It is not known if or when George will be able to return to work. He has a long journey ahead of him, but he is quite a determined traveler. There has been a GoFundMe account set up to help out with the many expenses, and can be found right here. Or, if you would like to help but do not want to use the GoFundMe campaign, your donation can be sent to The Montrose Church of Christ, PO Box 612, Montrose, CO 81402. Please indicate on your check that the donation is for the Robisons. All prayer support is appreciated as is any monetary donation.
Our heartfelt wishes to George for peace and comfort as he continues to heal.
